A New Member

Today I signed up for ITFORUM and EDUCAUSE.  Of course my inbox was slammed with several welcome emails and account information but that  has not detered my curiousity to see what will be in store for the next few months.  I chose EDUCAUSE because as Dr. Benson said it was mostly Higher Education Administration topics.  Probably being the only AIL 601 student who is not in the Instructional Technology department many of these concepts and topics are very new to me.  I use technology and processes all the time at work to determine the best course of action or to keep everyone on track.  The phrase "herding cats" tends to come to mind on very stressfull days at work.  Hopefully with this course I can learn what to do or not to do that will help futher expand our graduate programs and provide me with the resources I need to be a better administrator in the future.
